Newfortis Savings and credit Co-operative society was started in 1976 with membership of 857 drawn from the teaching fraternity that is Primary schools, Secondary schools and Tertiary institutions. The society has already amended its By-laws to open up membership to include other Civil servants all over the Republic of Kenya and expand its catchments area to other Counties. As at 31st Dec 2025 our membership stood at 25,452 and a workforce of 54 staff headed by the Chief Executive Officer.
